In April 2015, right before moving to South Carolina to be the located preacher for the Twin City church of Christ, I was privileged to spend just under three weeks on the North Island in New Zealand. Dale Byrum, his wife Karen, and I drove over 1,400 miles and saw many different places and people. During that trip, I was able to speak at six congregations, while visiting seven.

The trip was not an evangelistic type mission, but more of an attempt to encourage the Christians in NZ to keep on keeping on. There are some great congregations there, although they are surely few and far between. It was an experience I will never forget and I hope that I can one day return with Joanna.
